UC walkout 30% tuition raise planned , military budget

Feinstein better than any Republican ..... we are in a crime epidemic, so if national id would help, i might not be that opposed, .. but of course, i come originally from the other world, that one behind the ocean :]

my thoughts on #UCwalkout, planned 30% tutition raise, as Chris sent out the other day.
The problem too me is $1 trillion a year US military budget. - $660 bill nominal declared, $400 bill a year hidden as nuclear/ energy budget. Plus Republican wars, EXTRA $200+ bill a year ...

The solution for me is to cut military budget to $300 bill a year, and LOWER student fees.

Of course, Universal single payer public-private heathcare will also save tremendous amounts of money.
Next biggest budget is China with $60 bill a year. Well they also have $2 trillion surplus.

And also, please support Gavin Newsom, mayor of San Francisco, for California Governor.
He is the future Governor, and future president of the USA.
He just received endorsement from Bill Clinton. Again, Dems are the best choice from current establishment, not perfect.

Or, support third party, such as Ron Paul, http://ronpaul.com, Greens, Peace and Freedom, American Independent, Libertarians .....

I also suggest to sign 2009 http://911truth.org statement.

Feinstein cites the 9/11 Commission Report as the reason that REAL ID is necessary.

Dear Mr:

Thank you for contacting me to express your opposition to the REAL ID Act. I appreciate hearing your opinion and welcome the opportunity to provide my perspective.

The REAL ID Act of 2005 established standards for identification documents issued by states that need to be met to be recognized by the Federal Government. Although I have generally supported the goals of the REAL ID Act, I understand concerns about the fiscal impact of its implementation on states that are working to adopt the standards. I supported the nearly $48.6 million in the form of grants to assist states implementing the requirements of REAL ID, which was included in the Consolidated Security, Disaster Assistance and Continuing Appropriations Act of 2009 (Public Law 110-329). It is my hope that this funding may help to alleviate the financial burden placed on states, like California.

The 9/11 Commission report highlighted as a major security concern the ease with which individuals have obtained fraudulent state identity documents. The 9/11 Commission recommended the creation of national standards for the issuance of state driver licenses and identification cards as a remedy. I am committed to finding a balance that protects national security and respects the privacy rights of all Americans.

Again, thank you for your letter. I encourage you to contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841 if you have any questions or additional thoughts. Best regards.

Sincerely yours,
Dianne Feinstein
        United States Senator
